Guiding principle - my own values

Values can be defined as things that you believe important in the way you live your life. Your values may differ from those one person to another, but those values would define you as an individual.

I remember during my primary and secondary education, Values Education was part of the curriculum in a catholic school. We are always reminded of our faith and be of service to others. We are also encourage to join organizations wherein we will be volunteering for soup kitchen to the community near our school.

Back then in college I was given a chance to join in an emersion in Zambales, we live in foster homes and lived like them. After our emersion program, I was moved when the kids give us personal letters thanking us. I am pretty sure that during that time we inspire the kids to dream and work hard to reach it.

I believed that values exist even if the individual don't recognize it since it will reflect on your own behavior. Our values serves as our guide on how we live our own life. Sometimes identifying your own values is a challenge, but reaffirming your values can help you make the best decision for yourself, since life decision are mostly what you value most.
